Core Values

Commitment to

Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on a promise to serve not only one another but the greater community as well. This commitment reflects a philosophy of friendship, concern, and usefulness in the world.

Commitment to

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Commitment to
College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President

If you are reading this I can only assume you are about to embark on one of your greatest journeys yet: Greek Life. I applaud you for going on this (sometimes) scary journey that has the potential to be a life defining event for you, as it has been for me and so many of my sisters.
Here at Phi Alpha we are defined by our sisterhood while steadfast we sometimes stumble, overwhelmed by emotions and wanting what is best for our sisters. We all have such a passion ingrained in us for Phi Alpha which so clearly shines in all that we do rather it be during homecoming or in gaining new members.
One of my favorite things as Chapter President is getting to see my best friends, my sisters, accomplish so many wonderful things. Rather that be getting that A on the test they have studied so hard for or watching my recruitment chair take that first deep breath after she knows that recruitment will be okay. I absolutely love every moment of celebrating everyone’s successes but I also cherish those moments where we share each other's burdens, because those are the moments where we truly come together as a sisterhood.
If you think this is something you want to be apart of, please come. We would love to get to know you and for you to get to know us. While scary at first, Alpha Omicron Pi is just one step away from being your home.

All my love,

Olivia Snyder
